引《资治通鉴·唐僖宗光启三年》：“与 郑杞、董瑾 谋因中元夜，邀 高駢 至其第建黄籙斋，乘其入静，縊杀之，声言上升。”
胡三省 注：“黄籙大斋者，普召天神、地祇、人鬼而设醮焉，追懺罪根，冀升仙界，以为功德不可思议，皆诞説也。”
亦称“黄籙醮”。 《续资治通鉴·宋太祖开宝九年》：“命内侍 王继恩 就 建隆观 设黄籙醮。”
